With Biden we aren't in on the joke. That's the simplest way to put it.

That’s well said but we also don’t want be in on his jokes. He’s very off putting. Since 2015, I’ve had a visceral dislike of the man. When he said “white supremacy is our country’s biggest threat” that turned into disgust.

Yeah, he also seems to have a mean streak and occasionally lashes out at voters, which he never seems to do against his peers. Trump is the opposite, in that he never goes after the common man but targets his fellow politicians and elites all the time.

With Biden one can sense the contempt for those of lower status. Trump, on the other hand, exhibits magnanimity in the original, Aristotelian sense (megalopsychia).

Michelle was wise to insist that Barry test for AIDS.

When was that? Before their relationship was consummated?

Barack and Michelle are said to have met in summer 1989, married Oct 1992.

I'm sure Obama consumated his bisexuality, which isn't even a conspiracy, as he admitted it to his girlfriend in a private correspondence which was discovered by David Garrow, and he easily could've sued Garrow if he made such a thing up; but as long as he went no further than oral, which have always been the majority of MLM couplings, he would've been no more likely to get AIDS than a heterosexual man of the time. It's not like it would've been hard for him to find gay sex partners in Hawaii and Chicago in the '70s and '80s, and he's never had personal nor religious objections such things. Nobody actually believes he was sincerely against gay marriage when he said such in '08 to make it easier for him to get elected, which he probably didn't even need then, as he had already come out in favor in '04 and nobody who voted for him believed him when he said marriage was between a man and a woman in '08.

It's just you don't hear about it in sex-ed courses. Primarily due to a mixture of shame at promoting oral sex to minors, and political-correctness shaming from MLMs at being singled out for spreading AIDS, even though needle junkies and anal-sex rawdoggers were responsible for by far the most cases in the First World, and even most of the Second and Third's. As if shutting up about it will make it go away rather than just let everything needlessly get worse.

Biden didn't get dumped because he is a cognitive zero. Biden only got dumped because he can't win the election **now that the secret is out**. No one cared, or currently cares, that he can't mentally run the Executive Branch -- In fact, that was actually a selling point because the Deep State could just run things as it saw fit so long as Biden was installed as figurehead.

The idea that Biden himself has been making informed, rational decisions is obviously preposterous to everyone at this point. So the questions you should be asking is: Who was really running the Executive Branch for the last 3.5 years? Who is running it right now?

Agreed. Biden's usefulness declined in direct relation to the improvement in his awareness. He's a golem that has become uncontrollable by his creators, aka Obama & Co.

Ah, the condition Human. I agree with all the Trump/Biden correlations you have so eloquently elucidated, as alarming as they indeed are.

So, not to be pedantic (which is what one writes just prior to being pedantic), what is 'Trumpism'?

I'm an Engineer by profession, but even I learned from my WW II Veteran Dad that getting shot at and missed/wounded changed you almost as much as getting shot at and killed. Bullet stoppers are a unique breed.

My theses here, soon to be tested by Mr. Trump's behavior, is that he has now moved a quantum level into a different space. He may actually have the sense that God has something(s) for him to do and time is short. Therefore, as well written and well correlated at the Biden/Trump chemtrail just posted appears to be, it is here proposed that the 'new' Trump may be quite different than the man from last week.

Time will tell. Thank you for another excellent foray into Mordor.

Sorry, their both being self-promoting blowhards isn't unique enough to constitute a resemblance.

I'm damned if I can follow what Obama was thinking he was arguing by saying that both he and his wife were tested. Yes, if you think one of you might have HIV it makes sense to test both of you, but it doesn't provide a virtuous reason why one of you might have HIV in the first place.

Leftocrats are honor bound to pretend anybody in the First World who has sex can get AIDS. At least back then. Less people care after so much time of AIDS being diabetesesque in manageability.

Barack is bisexual, but he was still successfully closeted back then. Can't imagine how much he regretted picking Biden after a line like that. No wonder he ended up endorsing Hillary. Imagine eight years of that crap.

> I ... ended up in the bottom two-thirds of my class. And then ... I ..., in fact, ended up in the top half of my class

I suppose it would be unkind to point out that going from bottom two-thirds to top half is not necessarily an improvement. One sixth of the class is part of both cohorts.

Hey, back off, man! Joe was studying politics and law, not math. Anyway . . . .

Top half of the class is fairly mediocre. True some are at the very top but if Biden was he’d brag about it for sure.

I wouldn't lump Biden and Trump together except in a superficial manner of personal style that you point out.

Whatever his faults, Trump has admirable qualities. He has consistent political principles. He says what he thinks--he exaggerates in his sales-pitch manner, but the thrust of his rhetoric is correct. He has courage and fortitude. He has been successful in highly competitive arenas. I think he really wants what's best for America, whether or not you think he can deliver it.

I struggle to find anything admirable about Biden. He has no principles. He will say whatever he thinks is useful to him at that moment and casually tells important, destructive lies. Biden has never been anything but a corrupt political hack. Nothing about his actions as president suggests he had America's best interests at heart, with the exception of his getting us out of Afghanistan, however poorly it was executed.

Part of it is the difference between being white or black in the Democratic Party. Someone like the late but unlamented Eddie Bernice Johnson or Sheila Jackson Lee could be “colorful” but they got a pass because they were black. Biden’s colorful outbursts over the last few years are just embarrassing for the Democrats because Biden is a gauche white guy.

I don't consider Biden's remarks about blacks "Trumpian." Trump has not been critical of blacks that I'm aware of. During the run-up to the 2016 primary, I had black friends who were enthusiastic Trump supporters because of his rhetoric about Mexicans. (Blacks are more disadvantaged than whites by immigrants from Mexico and points south. Whites get nannies and gardeners; blacks get competition for low-skilled jobs and gang turf, and get their lunch eaten on both fronts.)

Biden is akin to that Bill Hartman SNL skit, Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer (e.g. https://snltranscripts.jt.org/95/95pcavemanlawyer.phtml) about an anachronistic brute who "doesn't understand" what he's noticing in the courtroom...til a simple, timeless truth emerges from the mists of history...NOT GUILTY! Except that Biden was never frozen, thawed by scientists, and successful at law school. He's just a very, very old caveman with a prehistoric POV that makes everyone cringe.
