One of Musk's prodigies is out for tweeting edgy wisecracks in the past.

A staffer connected to Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency resigned on Thursday after now-deleted racist social media posts were resurfaced.
The resignation was confirmed by a White House official who was not authorized to speak publicly.
Marko Elez, a 25-year-old software engineer, was working inside the Treasury Department to cut costs and root out fraud, as part of Musk's DOGE effort. …
The Wall Street Journal reported on a number of 2024 posts from an account connected to Elez on Musk's X platform and noted that White House officials confirmed his resignation after the paper pointed out Elez's activity on the social media site.
"You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity," the account wrote in September.
What exactly is Marko Elez’s ethnicity is not explained, however. *
He appears to be some kind of white guy, so He Can’t Say That:
But if he turns out to be of Jewish ethnicity, does he get his job back? Jews get to say that, don’t they? What exactly are the rules over who gets to declare they are endogamous and who does not?
By the way, does this mean the vast number of black female federal employees who have posted, "You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity” or words to that effect will now be fired? Or is that different, for reasons?
"Normalize Indian hate," a separate post from that month read.
In July of last year, the account posted: "Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool."
Just for the record, I was Steve Sailer before it was cool to be Steve Sailer.
In other posts, from December, the account pushed for repealing the Civil Rights Act and shared: "I just want a eugenic immigration policy, is that too much to ask."
Actually, we do have a moderately eugenic immigration policy.
But the word “eugenic” has been made utterly terrifying.
*Marko Elez appears to be a Balkan name. It’s probably a Christian one, so he’s out of luck on endogamy. If it were a Balkan Muslim name, however, would he be given a pass for proclaiming his endogamousness? We don’t expect Muslims to follow the rules for white Christians on this question.
But what if he were a European Muslim? Nobody seems to know whether Balkan Muslims are minorities are not… If they moved to North Africa, like the Albanian Muhammad Ali did around 1800 and became the ruler of Egypt, then the Biden Administration would classify them as nonwhite MENA. But if they are in the Balkans, well, does their Europeaness overwhelm their Muslimness? Or vice-versa.
Clearly, these questions of DEI privilege still matter, despite two weeks of excited commentary that they do not.
Marko Elez sounds like a Christian Balkan name, so he's out of luck. If he were Muhammad Elez or Moshe Elez or D'Marko Elez, though, he could saying anything he wants about whom he'd marry.
Those are just the rules.
To fight racism, some are born privileged and others aren't.
Good thing they fired the kid and now the whole thing will go away and the people who doxxed him will be satisfied and that will be the end of it.
Seriously: How many times does this have to happen for our side to learn that groveling and caving to these monsters will only encourage them and that the best response is to tell them "Go to Hell"?
Tweeting stuff like this is the young online right equivalent of being first over the battlements in a seige assault. You'll probably die, but gloriously, and you make it easier for the guys behind you. You'd see pockets of it going back to the 20-teens. I remember one video from 2020 of a white guy wearing blackface - he stated his full name to the camera then said verbatim, "I dislike black people and am a racist." It's suicidal. But freeing, in a way, and perhaps heroic.
