10 Megaton is nothing. Tsar Bomba, the project overseen by Sacharov, was 60 Megaton. If it were 10 Gigaton, would be a different matter.

True, if one were in the centre of Hiroshima (near atomic dome) at the right time on August 6, 1945, even 10 Kiloton were more than enough. But on balance of probabilities, 10 Megaton is nothing.
