How long until the Frontlash against the theoretical possibility of a Backlash by Trump supporters?
How soon until we start hearing Frontlash “concerns” from people who have been condemning Donald Trump as an existential threat to Our Democracy about a possible Backlash by Trump supporters?
UPDATE: Here's CBS consultant Samantha Vinograd riffing (after 0:40 on the video) this afternoon on the threat posed by "domestic violent extremists with anti-government sentiment."
Sounds like a Guns of Singapore situation.
By the way, are we ever going to have a Conversation about the uselessness of a petite lady Secret Service agent at shielding a 6’3” 250 pound candidate with her body?
I’m sure the woman agent who shoved her way past bigger male agents to get in front of the wounded Trump, thus inadvertently setting up the Iwo Jima-quality iconic photo, is looking forward to a long career of giving motivational speeches at sales conventions, but still …
Also, two days ago I wrote here on Substack:
If Trump has a stroke tomorrow, what happens?
…If Trump drops dead after he announces his VP choice, then I would imagine the great man’s dying wish would be honored and Trump’s VP selection would become the Presidential candidate by acclamation. …
Of course, Trump has been delaying announcing his VP because of the sudden uncertainty over which Democrat he will be running against. Delay gives him more time to figure out what the Democrats will do and adjust his choice accordingly.
And, why distract attention from the Democrats right now?
Still, it would be nice if Trump had told somebody trustworthy (Ivanka?) who his preliminary VP pick is at present, so if he suddenly dies, she could come forward and reveal his wish.
Here's CBS kicking off the Frontlash:

Agree with you on the lady secret service. So strange.
