Kamala’s (roughly) 1/4th black ancestry has gotten far more publicity than her half-Hindu heritage, but South Asians' rise to positions of power across the Anglosphere ought to be a big story.
“the aging Teutonic governor of blue Minnesota” is a perfect description of Tim.
I will say that the South Asian population is arguably as intelligent as Jews, but I would argue their breeding schemes aren’t as selective or, dare I say -- as 'eugenic' -- as the Jews, albeit handling an entire caste system within their own ethnicity.
Their top dog failure rate has been pretty high so far, and I don't see it improving in the near future. Harris may win, but her term would be the hair of the dog that bit us.
> [South Asians ha]ve done well at climbing the corporate ranks to CEO of existing American corporations, such as Sundar Pichai of Alphabet (Google) and Satya Nadella, who has made a colossal amount of money for Microsoft shareholders
I would add Indra Nooyi to this list, not only because she is a woman but because PepsiCo is not a tech company; she made her money selling salty snacks and sugary beverages to the masses.
> Michael Bloomberg ... his 2020 run for the Democratic nod went nowhere.
In New Jersey Democratic circles we held off a long time making a formal endorsement of a candidate in that year's presidential primary because we were hoping to hitch our ride to the Bloomberg rocket, yet it never launched.
For a while I thought Elliot Spitzer might be the first Jewish president, but sadly he could not keep it in his pants. Then I thought Al Franken might be the first Jewish president, but he couldn't keep his hands to himself, even if he was only kidding.
Entertainer Al Franken would have been a reasonable candidate to run against Trump in 2020, but he got Me-Tooed in one of the more absurd Me-Too witch hunts.
The sad part is that the Democratic Party was so holier-than-thou and felt the need to be seen as ideologically pure that they threw Al Franken overboard without much of a thought. With their current ticket of Harris/Walz, they have Come to Jesus and become much more pragmatic. Republican ideologues are saying that the Democrats are punting this year, but I don't think so. In 2016 they very obviously put their thumbs on the scale for Hillary over Bernie, but this time they didn't even pretend to have a democratic process for the nomination; they anointed someone who fell on her face in 2020 and was selected as VP purely for DEI reasons
Well, genetic theory would argue you eventually get a Kamala, no matter how great the parental phenotypes.

I’ve definitely noticed how Indians like going into politics. They seem about the same as whites, and more so than Chinese (at least in Canada).
