Why are late onset M-to-F transgenders usually rightists?

Another rightwing thinktanker with a wife and kids announces that he's really a lady.

Then on Thursday:

After all, what could be more fundamentally feminine than a tireless focus upon “rapid-response (center-right) economic policy and cool budget charts”?

It’s natural to assume that middle-aged men who announce they are women must be highly effeminate homosexuals. Riedl declaims:

I’ve unmistakably known I was transgender since the age of 4. Medical scans and examinations have since confirmed my predominantly female brain biology, along with other biological characteristics that have countered my outwardly male appearance.

Would that it were so simple:

It appears that Riedl has a lisp, but less a gay lissssssp than a Daffy Duck lithp.

I’m in the middle of some dental work that has bestowed upon me a Daffy Duck lithp, so I’m sensitive about that question.
